Burden Archive photograph, cat. # A0082
Photographers: Erni Burden and Sheila Stover
Media: B&W 120 film, Rolleiflex cameras, 1960
Subject: Urban Renewal, A1 phase, The Western Addition, San Francisco

Our museum-quality prints are created with fully archival materials, producing a continuous tone value scale from paper-white to a velvety, rich, warm black.  The inks are exceptionally stable pure carbon pigment, on smooth cotton rag Hahnemuhle 190/gsm paper.  This print is remarkably true to the level of detail and subtlety of shading in the original negative, digitally scanned, restored and printed by the photographers’ son and Archive owner, Ernest Burden III.

Your print purchase helps the Burden Archive restore more of the collection’s historically important images, and to make them available to the public through our website, publications and educational exhibitions.  This print is part of our Early Supporter Editions, priced affordably in a larger run, allowing a wider audience to join our community of sustaining collectors.

NOTE:  This print sale, as a physical product, is not tax-deductible under our 501(c)3 status.

Policies:
The purchase price includes protective packaging and insured ground shipping within the United States.  Prints are sent flat-packed with acid-free contact materials.  Please allow 2 weeks for your order to ship.

All sales are final. Any editioned print(s) damaged in shipping may be replaced with a new issue of the same number only if the damaged print is returned to the Archive with photographic documentation of the damaged packaging before it was opened, and with a photo of the damage to the print inside.  Prints damaged by customer handling cannot be replaced, it is advised that the print(s) you receive be opened by a professional framer or art handler to insure proper care.
